Chanelized

I chose this slim vial of Chanel’s iconic perfume as my product because it represents everything that is Chanel. Without saying a word, this bottle tells the consumer - with me, you’ll be something. Your options are endless. The svelte, sleek black cap and gold plating say - I’m rich. With a hint of mystery, it's as if it has a personality - wine me and dine me.
This product is a perfect example of less design is more design. It’s small, fits in the hand (or makeup bag, purse, back pocket) “just right”. It’s a joy to hold, a pleasure to feel, glossy and smooth. It doesn’t hide it’s purpose; in fact, it says, plain and simple, “use me.” Perhaps even, you’re dying to use me. And yet, there it rests, not yelling, not clamoring, just - being. It’s confidence in a bottle. No insecurities here.
And the weight. You can tell, just by picking it up, that’s it not just liquid weight. This bottle is constructed from glass & metal. Even the cap, although it’s plastic, is by no means flimsy. This is a quality product, that even once it’s empty, you won’t want to throw away - it’ll simply graduate to decor status. And quite happily, too. And then, when you look at it, not only will it look good, and make you look good, but it will bring back all those lingering memories of the times you used it. It quite naturally develops an attachment with it’s owner; no more hunting, no more searching. Just one look, one touch, one thought of this bottle and you know, with Chanel No. 5, you’re home.
